Whenever I get an opportunity to cover a wedding in the backyard, I know it will be special. During Covid-19, a backyard wedding with a small group of family and friends is just the perfect way to show your love surrounded by the people you love the most.
It was a perfectly sunny summer day in Edmonton. Not too hot, a bit breezy, temperature in the high teens. Starting with the getting ready to the reception, everything went just perfectly. The small group of family and friends decorated the Ceremony area. A neighbour was the HMUA. The entire group was so much fun and was very forthcoming to let me take great photos which made it even more special. The couple was simply the best. They made it easy for me to take great pictures.
Every wedding is unique in its own way. The love and joys that I get to see is so uplifting. This is the day the couple remembers the rest of their lives and they rely on the pictures to create memories that will last a lifetime. My job is to do just that, create stunning memories. In this wedding, it was no exception.
