Sometimes, the unexpected brings the best out of someone. This grad photo shoot was no exception. A bunch of kids super excited to have their grad photos taken at a City park during Covid-19 when not much happened this year for them. But then, their photographer bails. Imagine the disappointment of the kids and the frantic parents. That's when I got a call which is right after I came back from another photo shoot from the same vicinity.
Could I help those kids by going back to downtown area for a photo shoot? Of course I could.
What do I see when I go to the park? Keep reading......
The most satisfying scene in my years of photography. A sense of relief in the parent's faces and the kids were simply overjoyed to see that someone is there to photograph this special moment. At that time, they were not sure who they got and what quality of photographer I am. From my perspective, it was a very satisfying moment.
We had two bouts of rain, one a bit severe but neither lasted more than 10-15 minutes. The photo shoot was one of the best I have had and I think the photos came out quite nice. The feedback I received from the parents was quite satisfying.
Photos are about creating memories. They were especially true in this case, because I could bring smiles to these lovely kids on their way to a brighter future.
Memorable pictures for these kids.
These are lovely pictures. Adorable kids.
